On April 20, 2020, the Redmi Note 9s was presented in Colombia, which comes with a processed Snapdragon and its starting price is slightly lower than the starting price of the Redmi Note 8 pro. Therefore, the question is: What will be the king in this range?
The
Redmi Note 9s comes with a renewed design, it comes with a square
module with 4 cameras in the back, at the front it comes with a hole in
the center for the front camera. Its screen is 6.67 inches IPS with full
HD + resolution. This Xiaomi has dimensions and weight greater than its
predecessor. It has USB Type-C and the long-awaited headphone port
(3.5mm bay), a fingerprint reader on the side. The manufacturing
materials are glass and metal, on the back, it has Gorilla glass 5.
This equipment has a very good performance from the hand of a Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G chipset, which seems to be perfect for day to day, also for people who want to play with their phone this processor is oriented to gaming, so in principle, it should run most games without any problem. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9s has two versions of 6 GB and 8 GB of RAM, internal storage comes in 64 GB and 128 GB respectively. On the other hand, the smartphone has a huge 5,020 mAh battery and according to the brand, it can achieve two days of autonomy. At the OS level and customization layer, it comes with Android 10 and MIUI 12.
As I mentioned earlier, this cell phone has four cameras on the back and one on the front. Its main camera is a 48-megapixel sensor with 1.79 focal lengths, a 119-degree 8-megapixel wide-angle, a 5-megapixel macro that allows you to take photos up to two centimeters away, and the last camera has a depth sensor of 2 megapixels to make portrait mode shots better.
To conclude I think the Redmi Note 9s is a very capable phone! Xiaomi is betting this year on a cell phone that defends itself in most situations. This cell phone looks great considering that here in Colombia you can find approximately between 900,000 thousand pesos and 1,200,000 pesos. For this price, it seems to be possible to obtain a very good performance, a quite versatile camera, and a wonderful battery, with these Xiaomi characteristics, today, I do not think it has much competition in Colombia (in this range), almost that it could To say that his biggest competition could be his brother the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 pro.
The only obvious deficiency is that it does not have an NFC chip that, to be honest, in Colombia, it is not used much yet. For all the above, I consider that this phone will have great approval in the Colombian market and will continue to dominate the mid-range of this country.
