LG K61: LG returns to the smartphone arena with the K61! || Tech Review Pro

For several days now we have not seen LG terminals in Tech Review Pro, therefore, we were pleased with the arrival of the K 2020 family and, especially, the K61! Which seems to have everything necessary to leave its mark on the premium mid-range of the market.

At first glance, the K61's finishes look very stylish and attractive, with metallic-look polycarbonate construction materials and backed by 810 military durabilities and durability certification, which often gives users some “peace of mind”.


For starters, it has a large set of rear cameras among which is: a 48 MP wide-angle + an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle + the 2 MP macro + 5 MP depth lens. The fifth camera is that of 16 MP selfies and, to orchestrate such a large number of cameras, the K61 has a Mediatek Helio P63 processor, which has an arsenal of tools.

The Helio P63 has two hardware ISP image processors that, in conjunction with Imagiq software, can generate advanced camera features, improve the quality of photography in low light conditions (reducing noise) and, all of the above, with a good balance at the level of consumption of the 4000 mAh battery still, having such a large screen (It is a 6.5 ″ IPS LCD)

In addition to balancing the load, the Artificial Intelligence (AI) of the Helio P35 of the LG K61, also helps to improve performance not only at the level of task processing but also in connectivity to the different network options available, the support of VoLTE (Voice over LTE), Voice over WiFi and TAS 2.0 to avoid running out of signal.

At the audio level, the K61 boasts a DTS X 3D system that generates 7.1-channel audio through the headphones (retains the 3.5mm input to connect traditional headphones). The capacity is not far behind the rest of the specifications since it has 3 GB of RAM and 128 of expandable ROM via micro SD memory.


Everything seems to indicate that the K61, from its bowels (with the MediaTek Helio P35 chipset), has what it takes for mid-range users to play, take good pictures, consume content and produce or work from home in times of # COVID19. This, at a reduced price that, in Colombia, does not even reach the barrier to have to pay VAT.
